blog of the week - ahab's whale

The second (ever) blog of the week is Ahab's Whale. Ahab's Whale is an entertaining and insightful blog written by three Canadians, Mister's Tim Cooper, James MacDuff, and Mike McNair (of "The Inhabitant of London" fame).

According to their blog, they're all working or studying in London, UK.

Check it out for some good posts!

Hm... congrats Dave.. you've been spammed.

I was going to say.. Ahab's Whale used to be "The Inhabitant of London" (which is still listed on our Prog Blog blogroll.. clicking on it tells you to go to Ahab's Whale).

I tried to get ahold of them to see if they wanted the name changed.. or if they were still affiliated with us.. but no response.. though now that I am at their site, I see they do have a url to our homepage.

hmm. aparently. Do you think I should respond. Abortion isn't a controversial topic at all. :P

I think Ahab's used to be just Mike's blog, and then he merged with AW. Not sure, but I don't think the other two guys were part of TIOL. AW is a good blog anyway.

Dave - sweet! Great shot of the captain and thanks for the attention...

And a clarification for any interested, "Ahab's Whale" actually used to be "Ahab's Dream" when in started in a Munich subway internet cafe in September '04. Tim Cooper and I changed over to the new site at the new year, and our friend Mike McNair, the "Inhabitant of London", joined us a few months ago... They are both working in London, and I am finishing up exams at Oxford for a Masters of Law before a return to Halifax in about a month.

So there you are. Hope the weather is nice out West.
