I think Jim Dinning might have just made his YouTube debut... I can't tell...
I know it's been said that Canadian political techniques tend to be 5-10 years behind the Americans, but can anyone explain what the heck that was?

Dave,
I was at the forum hosted by Calgary-Varsity and the UofC Conservative Students Association. The Dinning fire truck was there. And yes, it was that lame.
"Celebrate good times". Well, I guess that's all we have to do. Just give up, vote Jim, and good things will happen. Sigh...
Gerard Kennedy's been at the forefront of new e-campaign technologies. He's all over youtube and all of his videos are viewed by hundreds, the only one to get more viewers has been Rae's skinny-dipping episode, and that wasn't exactly substantive. Kennedy's campaign was pretty much launched by bloggers, too.
What daveberta, are you against fire trucks? Well, ARE YOU?
Dinning is a joke. On the up side, if he happens to win the leadership race, the PC party will be split in half. Rural Alberta will not bow to a corporate Calgary suit.
Nothin' like a little Kool And the Gang to whip the kids into a frenzy.
Even the Dinning people think it was lame. Where's the fire, Jim? What message are you trying to "put out"?
Coming a close second for ridiculousness is Lyle Oberg, who has a tractor-trailer, emblazoned with his picture and name, that cruises around the province spreading the antagonism. There's also a smaller lighted sign truck that bounces around. Like Mark Norris, Oberg's campaign is an expensive act of masturbation.
or mark norris' hummer
Hey, at least the music was good.
I had to stop what I was doing and have a dance party.
Looks more and more like Ted Morton has this thing wrapped up!
Why would any candidate in their right mind drive a Hummer?
what the heck is that video?
