haha. Craig Chandler might have to help me book a flight out of Alberta if Stelmach wins a majority!

the sad thing is, there's enough content to fill a full page for something like this.

Even when the fed libs were in power, you'd have a tough time finding 4 or 5 examples of wasted spending like this in the course of a year.

Lame. What do you want, elected officials that don't participate in international events and bridge building? Should we ask the rest of the world to always come to us?

This another example of the Liberal party having no ideas to campaign with, so they start slinging mud.

If you're right wing, vote PC. If you're left wing, vote NDP.

Just don't vote Liberal.

Actually, I'd prefer elected officials that don't charge the taxpayer nearly $50,000 on the government credit card without providing any receipts what the charges are for.

I'd prefer elected officials that don't feel it's okay to charge a bachelor party on to the taxpayer's credit card.

I'd prefer elected officials that don't have the taxpayer pay for them to go to conferences on how to be a better MLA when they're leaving the legislature within 30 days of that conference.

I'd prefer elected officials that, if they had to stop in Honolulu for 3 days as a stop-over (man, that's a helluva wait for another plane), at least didn't use the taxpayer's credit card to buy drinks for their wife and four other people.

I'd really prefer an elected official that decided it would be better to announce the election before parliament began to sit, rather than incurring the monthly session fees that are now due to the parliamentarians for their whopping 3 hours of service on Monday that was essentially used to roll out the government's election platform.

Basically, I'd prefer a government that at least had the courtesy to be ashamed when pulling money out of my wallet, not acting as if it's their god given right.

Too bad Kevin Taft is so ineffectual that we'll never get a chance to see how the Liberals would govern. Why doesn't Taft have a clue as to how he would tweak the royalty regime yet?? He makes me wish I wasn't a Liberal in Alberta!!

That Ed Stelmach "Don't Worry Be Happy" video was hilarious.

There really does need to be a leadership review. We need to get Jim Dinning into his rightful place as Premier of Alberta.

Dave, have you given thought to removing the anonymous option of commenting?

I mean, sure - PC staffers have nothing better to do with their time but to post anonymously on your blog, but man, this is getting ridiculous.

Dave...Excellent! LOL

You have a talent. He can book a personality now!

The scenes in the legislature were a bit depressing though.

Who are these people who won't answer a simple question?

What are they paid for? Airmiles?

Hmmmer. Things that make ya' go hmmm?
