clean coal: this is reality.

How do you compete for public attention against an industry that spends millions of dollars on lobbyists and spin advertising?

Well, this is a good start:

I guess you get millions of dollars from the heirs of the Standard Oil fortune (Rockefellers). And, unless you plan on putting a wind farm in the way of the view from Martha's Vineyard, then Ted Kennedy may help you.

Um ... I don't think I've ever seen a pro-clean coal (or pro-fossil fuel) advertisement in my life. If they're spending millions on advertising they should get their money back because very little is more demonized in today's world than fossil fuels.

Its a "good start" other than the fact that it says absolutely nothing and doesn't address any of the facts of the technological developments taking place.

Interesting that they acknowledge:

"In reality, there is no such thing as "clean" coal in America today. Coal cannot be called 'clean' until its CO2 emissions are captured and stored safely."

in the "About Us" section of all places of their website. Not on TV of course.

I really liked this, where did you find it?

Watched it twice, then forwarded to the politically inclined grandparents, for their review...
