I also enjoyed the results in these two categories...

Most worthwhile things in life belong on both the best and worst lists.

Been here before Dave.. but I still can see twitter as little more than the most egotistical process ever invented..

ie)

It's not enough for me to post a blog.. I'll post every stupid insignificant think I'm doing, all day long, because I'm just that interesting.

As an aside - the twitter thing sort of reminds me of the obsessive parent who is constantly videoing their child - and who, in the process, misses out on the actual experience they are seeking to record.. the home-run, the first steps..

How can anyone truly be "in the moment" if they are jabbing at their crackberry every minute or two.

Word to those in the legislature using twitter.. put down the blackberry and pay attention to your JOB!

Coffee houses are a NEW trend? They make it seem like Edmonton is pretty backwards.

Linda Duncan? Really??

The woman used her one private members bill to advance a "National Hockey Day". I'm sorry but that is just stupid.

What, other than being this province's only non-CPC MP, has this woman done since being elected?

To my mind she has been a huge dissapointment. I expect a lot of the Greens and Liberals who lent her their votes feel likewise.

You can see what Linda Duncan's been doing lately, on ParlVU here. She debated Stéphane Dion's Private Members' Bill on Renewable Energy, on May 6th.

Mr. Dion's speech runs from 04:30:00 to 04:44:30, with questions to 04:49:40. Linda Duncan's debate follows at 05:06:10.

What has she done in the constituency, if anything?

I heard Linda Duncan only flies back from Ottawa once a month. Way to stay in touch with constituents... :-(

What makes a great opposition member?

Ah yes, an epic question, and one that I'd like to nominate the Enlightened Savage to tackle, (Daveberta and Ken Chapman are welcome to it, but I think the ES does the best job in breaking down topics like this).

You heard wrong.

Rahim didn't even live here. Did you give him a hard time?

Gustav: You flatter me, sir. :)

I'll see what I can do.
