alberta electoral boundaries review: first scheduled public hearings announced.

The schedule for the first round of public hearings to Alberta's Electoral Boundaries Commission was released this afternoon. Locations TBA.

Living in Calgary Hays, I can tell you that I suspect a new riding will be added here, or carved out of the existing one. The poplulation guidelines are so off the chart here. ( Massive population growth.) I will be watching.

I'm pleased the government is increasing the amount of seats. Alberta's population has increased and I want access to my MLA.
