klein has time for power.

Following Tory Premier Ralph Klein's ridiculous personal attack on Al Gore:

"I don't listen to Al Gore in particular because he's a Democrat. And not only that, he's about as far left as you can go."
I was reminded that he had an evening worth of time put aside for another high-profile Democrat with very close ties to Gore in Edmonton last March? He even had pictures taken with him (along with Tory MLA's Cindy Ady and George VanderBurg) and gave the introduction speech at the Rexall Place.

How likely do you think it is that Klein would be singing a different tune had Gore been allowed to become President after winning the 2000 US Presidential election?

Well Al Gore did not become president, he lost and then made a shity movie.

I mean how can believe a guy who's IQ is lower the G.Bush. Come on the guy said he invented the internet

Ahem. snopes.com's urban legend debunking site on the (fallacious) "created the internet" rumour...

In defense of the premier, Gore made some pretty inflammatory and incorrect statements recently of his own, on the subject of the tar sands.

Plus, he invented the internet. Did we mention that? hehe

Klein is an elected official with a responsibility to Albertans who he is supposed to be representing.

Al Gore is unelected and not responsible to and electors.

THAT is the main difference and why Albertans should be embarassed.

If Al Gore defines the extreme left wing of American politics, then things are far worse than suspected.

yeah, that 55.4% of Alberta Tories really ate up his antics when he threw that Liberal healthcare book at the 17 year old legislature page...

Gore didn't take a shot at Alberta or Albertans - he took a shot at what the oil industry is doing to Alberta's environment. If Klein wants to defend Big Oil, then fine, he should use FACT not cheapshot bush-league personal attacks.
